Loaf Marketplace LLC operates Loaf. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain personal information when you use our website and app.

Information you provide

Loaf may process account information, profile details, breeder and listing content, messages, support requests, notification preferences, and information needed to manage transactions.

Published breeder profiles, kitten listings, and their uploaded photos are visible to other visitors. Messages and transaction information are shared with the relevant participants and may be reviewed by authorized staff for support, safety, or dispute handling. Do not put sensitive personal information in public listings.

Instagram and Facebook links you choose to add to a breeder profile are public. Following a social link takes you to another service, whose own privacy policy applies.

Signing in

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an account identifier and the profile information the provider makes available, such as your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.

For Sign in with Apple, we securely store an encrypted authorization token so we can revoke Loaf's authorization when your account is deleted. The stored token is removed after revocation succeeds. This does not delete your Apple account.

Information collected through use

Loaf may collect device, diagnostic, security, usage, and approximate location information when needed to operate, protect, and improve the marketplace. Location access is optional unless a feature clearly requires it.

Payments

Payment and payout details are entered through Stripe's payment and connected-account tools. Loaf receives transaction identifiers, statuses, amounts, and limited payment-method information needed to operate the marketplace. Do not send complete card numbers, bank credentials, or passwords in messages or support requests.

How information is used

Information is used to provide accounts and listings, support communication and payments, prevent abuse, deliver requested notifications, resolve support issues, comply with law, and improve Loaf.

Sharing

Information may be shared with the other party when required for a marketplace interaction, with vendors operating Loaf, or where required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute handling.

  • Supabase supports account authentication, database storage, and uploaded files.
  • Stripe supports payments and payout-account onboarding.
  • Sentry supports app error diagnostics; Better Stack supports API logging and monitoring.
  • Hosting and notification providers support delivery of the service and requested notifications.

Deleting your account

You can request deletion from the Account section in the app or contact support for help. The in-app flow asks you to confirm your decision. When deletion is accepted, access to your account ends and any public breeder profile and listings are hidden. Personal profile details are removed or anonymized, and unused uploads are queued for removal without an additional waiting period. File removal and sign-in provider cleanup may take time or require retries.

Active purchases, payments, refunds, disputes, or outstanding payouts may need to be resolved before in-app deletion can proceed. Unpaid payment requests are canceled unless payment has already started. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid purchase or automatically issue a refund. Contact support if you cannot complete deletion or want to make a separate privacy request.

What remains after deletion

Other participants keep access to their conversation history. Conversations without purchase history and their unused message attachments are cleaned up after both participants' account deletions finish, unless needed for a safety report or preservation hold.

Purchase-related conversations and records may remain, including records of canceled unpaid requests. We also retain information needed for payment reconciliation, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, safety investigations, and legal obligations. Files still referenced by retained records are not treated as unused uploads.

Retention and security

Loaf's retention policy for necessary financial records and relevant transaction evidence is seven years after the end of the year the final financial issue is resolved. Records may be kept longer when required by law or a documented preservation hold. This is our retention policy, not a statement that every type of information must legally be kept for seven years.

Account deletion does not instantly erase every copy held in service logs, security records, or backups. These have separate retention and operational requirements. We limit access to retained information and use security safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Users can manage profile and notification information in Loaf and contact support about access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions. Availability of a request may depend on applicable law and necessary record retention.

Contact Loaf Marketplace LLC or email support@loafcats.com with privacy questions or requests. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing account information. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us for help exercising them.
